Are the camera's waterproof?
The cameras are IP67 rated and will be OK when submerged at 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Are the DVR (Digital Video Recorders) waterproof?
The DVR is IP67 rated and will be OK when submerged at 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Is the equipment safe to use for extreme sports?
Reasonable measures should be taken to protect yourself from harm in your chosen sport. If you are wearing the equipment ensure you protect yourself from injury that might be compounded through wearing of the equipment.

Is it OK to mount the camera on myself and the DVR on a vehicle?
No! that can be extremely dangerous. Always make sure that the DVR + camera are attached to the same object. i.e. if you have the camera on your person make sure the DVR is in your pocket or in your rucksack.

Are the systems affected by cold weather?
Generally, you will not notice much of a difference provided the DVRs are kept in a pocket or backpack. However if you are going into arctic temperatures then expect battery life to be much shorter and possibly malfunction.

Where have the systems been used?
Ed has personally used the system on skiing trips in Arinsal. He has not had problems with it. They have survived plenty of falls while skiing. These systems are also used in Racing cars.

Can I create my own DVDs?
Sure why not! As the footage is already in a digital format simply, download it into your computer and load it into your software editing program, then burn your DVD - Simple. I use Adobe Premiere, but there are many others out there.

What is MPEG 4?
Mpeg 4 is a video compression standard that allows lots of data to be stored in a smaller file, with little loss in quality.
